DESCRIPTION

Dudley Perkins Co. Harley-Davidson & Buell is a full-service Harley dealership that has been in business since 1914 with four generations of the Perkins family. In 2014, 90 years later, the dealership, arguably the oldest Harley-Davidson dealer in the nation, decided to relocate from San Francisco to South San Francisco.

The dealership’s new home was a 40,000 SF former “flight kitchen” for San Francisco airport. Cody|Brock gutted the building and installed a mechanics shop on the ground floor, along with a storage warehouse and a complete retail facility. The second floor incorporated a motorcycle showroom and apparel showroom. Each floor encompasses 20,000 SF.

Cody|Brock’s work consisted of the complete demolition of all interiors, followed by an electrical service upgrade for the entire building, including new elevator, mechanics, HVAC systems, and electric systems. The new interior featured stalls and benching, a spacious showroom, and stockroom, as well as custom wood offices for sales and accounting. The exterior renovation included a new roof, new entry façade, security gates, loading dock, landscape, and asphalt parking lot.
